Day at the Beach

We took David down to New Port Beach, and walked by where Grandma and Grandpa's old beach house used to be. We even went to the boardwalk with the games and rides we used to go to as kids. David wasn't too excited about the ocean when we first got there, but he was excited in the car on the way down. After 20-30 minutes he was ok with the sand beneath his feet and on his hands. He liked building sand castles and even saw some little sand crabs. He then enjoyed some fries while mom and dad shared a funnel cake. And of course fell asleep on the ride home.
